What’s a work-related accomplishment you’re most proud of?
Seeing members of my team (or former teams) flourish and grow. I get an immense pride in watching the people I’ve coached professionally succeed in life and in business.
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
As cliche as it sounds, spending time with my family and friends. The older I get, the more I realize how special those relationships are and how lucky we are to have the time together. It also doesn’t hurt if that time together is spent on a beach with cocktails in hand!
What are some causes you care about?
I love giving back to organizations doing cancer research and participating in fundraising events, but one of the simplest ways to make a positive impact is donating blood. Over the last year, I’ve become an active platelet donor. Knowing that something so easy can make a world of difference to local cancer patients, trauma victims and premature babies motivates me to continue to give back in that way.
What’s your favorite tv show that you would watch on repeat?
Friends is this show for me – I can recite most of the lines at this point, but it’s an easy watch and something that still makes me laugh even if I know what’s coming.
What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
I truly care about the work I do. I was fortunate enough to grow up with hard-working parents who demonstrated that skill daily. I love building relationships. I am a people-person, but not a people-pleaser. I am not afraid to speak up and present new ideas or ways of working… but I still want you to like me!
